Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by Easygo Japan, Inc. and the purchase of products through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. General Provisions
All transactions conducted through our online store shall be governed by these Terms, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Product Information
We make every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date descriptions, images, and specifications of all products. However, we do not guarantee that all product details are free from errors, and minor variations may occur.
Japanese domestic appliances are generally designed for AC100V. Voltage compatibility is stated on each product page. Damage caused by operating a product on an unsupported voltage is not covered by any warranty.
3. Order Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are listed in Japanese Yen and exclude shipping fees unless otherwise stated. Payment must be completed at the time of purchase using accepted payment methods. All transactions are securely processed.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We offer international shipping from Japan. Shipping times are estimates and may be affected by customs inspections, flight schedules, and other external factors beyond our control. We only charge for the product price and shipping fees at checkout. Any additional charges such as import taxes, VAT, customs duties, or handling fees imposed by your country's regulations are the sole responsibility of the customer. We do not accept any liability for these charges.
Orders are dispatched by Japan Post. The service used depends on the total weight and the type of product, and the options available to you are shown at checkout. International Air Packet is our standard tracked airmail service; EMS is available as a faster alternative. Full details and current rates are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page.
6. Returns and Refunds
We accept returns within fourteen (14) days of delivery, provided the item is unopened and in its original packaging. Return shipping is at the customer's expense, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Where the product is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, we cover return shipping and refund the full amount including the original shipping charge. Please report such cases to us within fourteen (14) days of delivery with supporting evidence such as photographs.
For hygiene reasons, opened personal-care items cannot be returned unless faulty. This includes shavers, epilators, oral-care devices, hair-removal devices, scalp and facial devices, and cosmetics. Food and confectionery cannot be returned.
Please contact us before returning anything. Items sent back without prior agreement cannot be processed. Our refund policy forms part of these Terms and prevails in the event of any inconsistency.
7. Manufacturer Warranty
Appliances sold through our store carry the manufacturer's standard one-year warranty for the Japanese market. Such warranties can only be claimed inside Japan. Where a fault arises within the warranty period, we will submit the claim to the manufacturer on the customer's behalf. Shipping in both directions, and any charge applied by the manufacturer where the fault falls outside warranty cover, are the responsibility of the customer. Acceptance of a claim is determined by the manufacturer and not by us.
8. Order Cancellation
Order cancellations are only accepted if the order has not yet been fulfilled. Once the order has been packed or shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and must be handled as a return. Customers are advised to contact us promptly for any cancellation requests.
9. Perishable Products and Best Before Dates
Certain products, including but not limited to Japanese snacks, may have short Best Before dates. Delivery delays due to international transit or customs procedures may result in the product arriving after the indicated Best Before date. As the Best Before date is not equivalent to an expiration date, and the product may still be safely consumed, we regret that we are unable to provide refunds based solely on the product's arrival after the stated Best Before date.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is the intellectual property of Easygo Japan, Inc. or its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
